Thea Marti is a Rome-based filmmaker, whose extensive backgrounds have prepared her to take on the challenge of running her own audiovisual start up PhD Films, included into 100 best creative projects of Lazio Region in 2018.

PhD Films is a film production company founded by Thea Marti in 2016. It aims to produce genre films, such as thriller, horror, dark tales, supernatural, mystery, urban fantasy and cyberpunk. Besides, we have a special eye to experimental projects with a female perspective, eager to expand the boundaries of traditional narrative filmmaking and explore new styles and techniques of cinematic language.
